IT Security Engineer (m/f/d) at MWAY:

  • Developing and implementing security strategies to protect our IT infrastructure
  • Conducting security analyses and risk assessments
  • Monitoring and analyzing network systems for security vulnerabilities
  • Managing firewalls, VPNs and other security systems
  • Coordinating and conducting penetration tests and security audits
  • Implementing and managing security protocols and policies
  • Being the point of contact for your teammates on security issues and regulations
  • Responding to security incidents and conducting forensic investigations

What should you ideally bring to the table?

  • Completed degree in computer science, IT security or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of IT security
  • Sound knowledge of network security, encryption technologies and security protocols
  • Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs and endpoint security
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH or comparable are an advantage
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
